Non-accessible Content

Buttons without accessible labels: Some buttons do not include descriptive text or an aria-label attribute, making it impossible for assistive technology users to understand their function.
Empty or missing heading tags: Some heading elements contain no text content. In certain pages the h1 element is missing entirely, compromising navigation via screen readers.
Absent or non-descriptive page title: Several pages lack a meaningful <title> element in the head section, making it difficult for screen reader users to orient themselves.
Decorative images not correctly marked: Some images with an empty alt attribute also carry a title attribute, which will be read aloud by screen readers, providing redundant or misleading information.
Non-functional icons and spacers not excluded from assistive technology: Decorative graphic elements (icons, spacers) are not marked with role=”presentation” or role=”none”, causing screen readers to announce irrelevant content.
Form fields not properly labelled: Some form fields are not associated with an accessible label via aria-label, aria-labelledby, or a visible label element, making assisted form completion difficult.
Insufficient contrast between text and background: A number of text elements do not meet the minimum required contrast ratio (3:1), hindering readability for users with visual impairments, colour blindness, or dyslexia.
Missing skip navigation links: On some pages the “Skip to main content” link is absent or non-functional, penalising keyboard-only navigation.
Invalid ARIA attributes: ARIA attributes with incorrect values or roles inconsistent with the element’s purpose are present, limiting compatibility with assistive technologies.

Enabling the Accessibility Menu

This website uses the Skynet Technologies accessibility widget, a tool that — also thanks to Artificial Intelligence — allows users to tailor the browsing experience to their own needs. The widget is completely free for website users and helps improve the site’s compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2).

Text Alignment: Aligns site text to the left, right, or centre to provide a personalised, more accessible reading experience.
Readable Font: The “Dyslexia Friendly” font improves readability and provides a simpler, more fluid reading experience for visitors with dyslexia.
Text Magnifier: Displays alternative text and ARIA labels for on-screen elements on hover. Tooltips are prominently displayed, high-contrast, and easy to read for visually impaired users with accessibility needs.
Highlight Headings: Quickly reveals page headings, landmarks, and links in a clear, structured, and easily navigable way. Helps all users — disabled and non-disabled — find desired content more quickly.
Hide Images: Hides all image elements on the page to simplify reading and increase focus on textual content.
Reading Mask: Creates a focus area for the eyes to improve concentration while browsing, for users with attention difficulties.
